  Scope
 
  • To screen, evaluate and recommend all proposals for funding under TePP.
  • Nominate Technology Angels to the panel.
  • Select TePP Prototyping centres on panel,
  • To take a holistic view of the proposal at the initial stage to facilitate transformation of innovators to entrepreneurs.
  • An user perspective of innovation to be taken, supporting technically novel ideas as well as low cost options and better delivery models.
  • Micro budget innovations and properly evaluated proposals coming from TUCs can be recommended by TSC without reappraisal.
  • Proposals of grass root innovators, herbal products (of grass root innovators), school children projects are outside purview of TePP ( they will be taken by NIF).
  • Identify and recommend new activities to make TePP accessible to most eligible innovators, carry out screening & evaluation with time limits and manage TePP Network to meet the end objective of transforming Innovators into Technopreneurs.

  • To provide guidance in evaluation and benchmarking of novel ideas/proposals
  • To recommend techno-economically viable innovative proposals for funding under TePP (Pre-evaluated by TUCs)
  • To provide expert comments regarding IPR issues of proposals
  • To recommend further financial support/project extension/short-closure of the projects, if required
  • To review and monitor the progress of activities of TePP Outreach Centres (TUCs)
  • To recommend evaluated micro-budget proposals received through TUCs
  • To suggest models/mechanisms for expanding TePP in scope and contents and any other policy issues for transforming 'Innovators' into 'Technopreneurs'
